Gift for SO's parents

Ok, so I am visiting my SO in Italy this summer. His mother is Extremely excited to meet and is doing so much for me. She's getting me toiletries so I won't have to bring it myself and I will have more room in the luggage. I was already planning on bringing something along with me as a gift to them, I just can't think of a good gift. Something inexpensive, because unfortunately I do have a budget. I was thinking of some kind of souvenir from Chicago, since that is where I'm from. So what should I bring?

Some souvenir from Chicago is a good idea... I don't know if there's any product or symbol typical for Chicago, but I think it will be good. Or you can ask your SO if there's something that his parents are interested in or if they are collecting something, like mugs etc?

When my SO came over here, I bought his mother a box of chocolate coated raspberries to take back with him. Don't worry too much about what you bring her - it really is the thought that counts!
