Letter Jar (when you can't seem to contact your partner at times)

It seems like well the fact is me and my S/O is playing phone well skype tag. But after seeing one of the kind notes advertisements an idea came into my head! Why not give your S/O a jar as a present and then just send him or her love letters with nice stationary paper. Like when you have time just write how you feel and everything because love letters are soo much better than e-mails and it's much more personal with a positive note attached to it like what you like about him or her the person! Then you can collect it and read over it. Instead of sending a bunch of personalized notes altogether!

^ Oh oops that seems to be the purpose of Kind Notes hehhe has anyone ever use kind notes before?! www.kindnotes.com

I didn't because of money but it also gave me an idea. When I was at my SO's place last time I left many little sweet notes all around his room. (His room is full of transformers figures so i placed them in their hands and on them...) He keeps finding notes and says he loves it.

I actually bought the kind notes jar for our one year anniversary! I was really happy with it. I would have preferred to make my own jar and notes but I'm not creative, so it was great. He loved it!

Thank you guys for posting this. I am totally stealing this idea. My husband doesn't leave for D.C. for another few weeks, so I am writing a note card a day to him so that when he goes, he can take a big pile to read when he gets lonely. Some of them will be letters, some will contain drawings, etc.

I did something very similar to this for our 6 month anniversary! I bought a nice looking empty candle jar, bought some nice stationary, and learned how to fold origami hearts! I wrote either quotes, reasons I loved him, or just anything lovey dovey mushy thing I could think of and put them all in the jar! He LOVED it

I did something similar as well, I got a nice empty jar and filled it with 50 small notes that I had written small messages on in Swedish (my native language) and English. They weren't all that long, some were just some of his favorite quotes and some just said thank you or I love you while others were cheesy pick-up lines. I then wrote a little note that I laminated and tied around the tiny neck of the jar, phrasing it as the instructions you get on medicines, something like 'for use at lonely and depressing days. Warning! If underdosed, please contact girlfriend as quickly as possible.' He loved it, so he made me a letter jar where he wrote 6 long letters that he put in a jar he had made from a wine bottle (cut the neck off, it apparently took him 3-4 bottles to get it right )
