Recently people have posted threads and asked about help what to send their SOs cause they're havin an anniversary or something else

So I have thought about things I could send my SO cause its his birthday on 13th september and 5th october we'll have our 6 months

I liked your ideas with the USB stick so I was thinkin of doin some sort of video journal
My SO has never visited me so he basically has no idea where I live, and I'm goin to Croatia for a week soon to visit family and friends so I was thinkin of doin some videos to basically show him where I live

I might not be somethin special or not a constant I love you etc but since we havent met yet and probably wont untill spring or next summer, this would be a way to let him take part in my life more or well see where I live and stuff.

What you think of that?

That sounds like an awesome idea! And if the vids are too big, there's always free programs that can compress them. That's a super cool idea.

That sounds really great! I think it's a good way to show the places and people who are important to you when the other can't see them IRL. It's a shame I didn't think of that this summer. :P

You could basically use the time while you dont talk to your SO so you dont get too bored or depressed
And once you get to meet you can do the same just together! I def want to do that Basically document your relationship

Wow. That is such a fantastic idea. I'm surprised no one has thought of that before! I do think it'll be a GREAT way to include and introduce him into your lifestyle. Great Idea! Let us know how it works out.

Sounds like a splendid idea, also if you could get some of your family members to say hi on the video that would add an extra something, ya know. Give him a tour of your room, if you haven't already =p
I did something similar though with pictures as i didn't have a cam to use :/

I like this idea too. My SO and I always send each other pictures or videos of where we live/places we go to.

I think that's a really good idea, my SO and I had done something similar to that (but it was a video a day and we set our youtube accounts to private and sent them to one another that way) but I say go for it! it's a good idea ^^

I have thought of doing this before. On a day when I don't have school though =P Shame i've actually gone and lost my camera >=[

I love this idea! If I wasn't so scared of being on camera (and well...OWNED a camera) I think it's something I might do myself. As it is, I'm working on a regular journal with all my thoughts for him when we can't talk that I hope to give him when we meet. I lik this alternative since unlike on camera or in perso, it can be easier to write down some more of deeper thoughts or even doubts and fears I want my SO to know about but may not be comfortable saying in person. Maybe you might want to give that a try too
