Solving the videochat+ movie sound dilemma

Hey all,

new to the forum and wanted to see if anyone has solved the video chat + movie sound issues. I like to watch the same movie at the same time on videochat with my partner and unfortunately we have to mute each other, use headphones or I listen to the audio through her video chat mic. As you all probably know, these aren't ideal solutions... I'm just wondering if anyone has figured out better way??

The only thing I could suggest is turn down your sending volume / receiving volume.
I know my man's mic has feedback if the sound he hears is too loud and then I hear it twice, but when he turns down his volume / the sending volume it stops and we can talk to each other and watch the movie.

We just watch the movie and chat through the google hangouts chatroom or whatever. We can't hear each other but we've never complained about it before so I guess it doesn't bother us :0

The best solution to this that my boyfriend and I have found is headphones. Seems to work well for us.

We watch movies and shows together using our computers, so we just use headphones. I half screen the media player and the skype window so I can see both.
