    Photography Experience.

I'm seeing my SO at Christmas and was thinking of us both going to a studio for a photography session to get a few professional photographs of us.

Has any-one ever did this with their SO/Family/Friends?

    I have!
Not with an SO, but with my big brother...we have a bunch of professionally taken photos of us as kids.
They make great gifts for family members (grandparents, aunts, uncles etc)
and they just look really good.

I've never tried this, but I bet it would be wonderful to just have nice professional pictures of you and your SO to look at when you guys can't be together =]

I haven't done this with my boyfriend, but it sounds like a cute idea. I don't know if my boyfriend would want to spend his time taking pictures though =/ lol

I've done it with family. I admit, it can be a little awkward and uncomfortable, having to hold poses and doing what another person says, but it's totally worth it if you have a good photographer. What I liked was that we had the pictures taken outside rather then in a studio with a backdrop, so it made it more natural and fun. I recommend that over a studio if the weather permits

I take all of my on Pictures since I am a Photographer :-) no seriously I am .. anyways that is A fantastic Idea and as moonwatcher says outside is better with weather permiting.. since there are lot more locations to choose from instead of a backdrop.. Dont forget to screen the photographer choose one that is best for you dont just choose because of price.. even tho that always is a factor.. but also look at the photo's that the have takin and choose the photographer that can photograph the way you want....
