I accidentally left my pair of pyjama shorts at his house when I visited a few months ago... but I quite intentionally took a pair of his boxers home with me! So it ended up being a fair trade, haha!!We collided and fell out of nothingness... scattering stars like dust

...we also love to send each other cards and love letters because they seem more real, and it's wonderful to see the other's handwriting on an envelope waiting after a long day at work.
One of my favourite things that we did was exchange little bottles of our perfume/cologne. Although the scent of him is unique and not all about his cologne, being able to smell his cologne helps a little with the longing. Sometimes...

We've been doing this since the beginning even before he went away, because you kinda need your "fix" even after only a few nights of sleeping seperately.. it's a real comfort.
It started out with me wanting one of his tshirts for bedtime.. I left a few of my flower-shaped hair clips hanging onto the branches of indoor plant at his place and thought we were even - but he quickly requested one of my scarfs and pair of my lace panties, haha.. (and yes, clean ones! )
Then before going to South Africa, (and with his consent^^), I snatched the compulsory tshirt along with his signature scent! which is awesome to have.. just to have a sniff once in a while.. aaaaah.
He got to borrow the panties as well as my beloved greenstone pendant in a leather cord from NZ that I'd been wearing almost since I returned.. he doesn't leave his place without it.. (the necklace I mean - not the panties........ or at least I hope not!)
It's incredible how much of a comfort it can be to have something of his with me...

Awww..yes we're very into exchanging personal items with each other. The first visit he gave me a pillow and pillow case that reads: "You light up my night, Timothy" And it glows in the dark and has an adorable dinosaur on it ^_^ And I gave him one of my little red microfiber squishy pillows, that I named "moosh". So we have identical mooshes
In June (after a long visit), I remember arriving back home to text messages saying that he left a surprise for me, "very close to metal in my purse". Looked and looked, and finally found something gold in my change pocket. He had hidden his class ring in there! Oh and of course we have articles of clothing too. He has a few of my (more masculine) pj pants, and I have a pair of his boxers and a few shirtsI don't wanna miss one smile
I don't wanna miss one kiss
Well, I just wanna be with you
Right here with you, just like this
I just wanna hold you close
Feel your heart so close to mine
And stay here in this moment
For all the rest of time-- Aerosmith

Will probably won't like that I'm sharing this, but it's funny. The first time I went to visit him, I ran out of deodorant and had to buy a new stick so I threw the old one away. I found out later after I had gone home that he took it out of the trash can and saved it so he would have something that smelled like me. The next time I saw him I gave him a pillow case to put on his "Lisa pillow" (he's so cute!) so he'd have something besides my trash to smell. lol

The morning he left, I was crying and said he had to leave me one of his shirts because I love the smell of him.
He did give me one, it was his family guy shirt that said, "I'd love to stay and chat but you're a total b*tch"
I giggled because of the relevance of it
He has my "happy bear" which was one of my childhood bears, but he has had that for years, I gave it to him while we were still living at our respective parents houses and I made sure he took it when he left. He also has a lot of the furniture we shared for 12 months, as do I do.
I have a small bottle of his cologne - it's not the same straight from the bottle but it does help when the shirt scentt faded...
I will be buying a small bottle of my perfume for him too, he called the other day to tell me that he misses my scent. I promised him I would fix it...

Me and my SO have contemplated the idea of this. I want one of his hoodies and one of his necklaces. He wants... I dunno actually o.o' I gave him some of my old Yugioh cards since he loves playing Yu-Gi-Oh with his friends but thats not really meaningful. Maybe I'll give him one of my shirts. I have a few shirts that are in guys sizes. Hmm...

He gave me the belt to his bathrobe. My first visit there I'd somehow lost mine, so he gave me his, and put it on for me and tied it. I gave him the sweatshirt he borrowed when we went hiking and he couldn't find his. I write him poems and stories and he makes me cd's and dvd's.
Everything I know, and anywhere I go, It gets hard but it won't take away my love,
And when the last one falls, when it's all said and done, It gets hard but it won't take away my love

Yep yep ^^ Dave gave me his stuffed turtle he had sewn when he was 13. I sleep with it every night, he also gave me one of his t-shirts so I wear that too. I haven't exactly given him anything of mine, but I have made him things such a bunny and a pillow :3 Ohh and also, he may have bought this himself but still xD it's a coffee mug that says "I <3 my Nana" on it, which is my nickname that he calls me. He drinks out of it almost every morning ^^ Blah typing this out I realize he's given me more things than I've given him >.< I've made him tons of cards though. But I guess it doesn't matter, he's not materialistic or anything XD
