Just came back from the theaters from watching this movie I'll admit I was smiling like a complete dork half the time only because I could completely understand what they really meant when they were mentioning their LDR troubles. Such a cute, cheesy flick but my only complaint would be all the swearing! D: I mean, I'm no prude, but honestly, way to almost ruin an adorable film by sprinkling in the F-word for every other sentence : /

I really want to see it, especially since it got good reviews. I want to see it with my SO so we're going to wait until we can find a good copy online to watch it together (illegally). :X

Since there is the birthday surprise visit which won't technically be a surprise for me (but we won't tell him that, shall we?), coming up next weekend, maybe I will suggest that we go to see it (I have been wanting to see it ever since I joined up on LFAD and saw the preview on the site and he seems to want to see it, too). I hope it is still around! I mean, it looks like a great movie and it has popular actors, but it is often my luck that the movies I plan to see around my birthday don't always stick around, etc.

I'm really hoping that the characters are good representations of long-distance couples (especially since I don't really want to see cheating long-distancers on my birthday visit from my long-distance boyfriend) and that there is a happy ending (call me crazy, but I think this movie is rather ground-breaking for getting LDRs in the public as something normative and successful and I would hate for the outcome to be something unsuccessful). Ah, but I can't control these things, I guess! *Twitches with an urge to look up a summary on IMDB*

I went and saw it a while ago, now. I really enjoyed it. It made me laugh, it made me cry. But it was a little cheesy. That's about it. Worth seeing.

So, Michelle and I saw this movie last week and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! I thought it was funny even if I wasn't in an LDR. I think Dan (charlie day) is very funny. And for some reason I kinda like Drew Barrymore in any role. Unfortunately, I don't think this movie is doing too well in the box office. Its definitely worth matinee price! haha
