My boyfriends parents drove him up to see me yesterday and we went to go see it.. It was the cutest thing ever. They really did an amazing job of protraying all this. Everytime the main guy said he missed him girlfriend, my SO would pull me closer to him.. It was perfect.. <3 =DAlthough this distance breaks my heart,
And it's unbearable when we're apart,
I know that it will all be fine,
As my heart is yours,
And yours is mine.. <3

I was fortunate enough to be able to watch it with Tim We kept saying how we have to see this movie together! Sadly his next visit wasn't scheduled until thanksgiving, and it was probably going to be out of theaters by then... However, I realized that I could be up there for labor day weekend. So it was like...YES spontaneous trip!!! It was a little pricey cause I booked so late, but it was completely worth it
We ended up being able to watch it together. We laughed, held hands, and smooched at the most random timesI don't wanna miss one smile
I don't wanna miss one kiss
Well, I just wanna be with you
Right here with you, just like this
I just wanna hold you close
Feel your heart so close to mine
And stay here in this moment
For all the rest of time-- Aerosmith

My SO was visiting for a few days around my birthday and we went to see the film the night of my birthday! It was very fortunate timing, since we had both really wanted to see the film together and had been thinking that we would have to wait until it was on DVD.
We both really liked it. For me, I agree that there was too much swearing (it was overdoing it for some of the characters), but other than that I thought it was so funny and sweet...and, most importantly, did some justice for long-distance relationships. My SO really liked it too. He said that he was really glad there was so much humour, because the rest of it felt so real and close to home that it would have been difficult to watch throughout. (As an aside, we held hands the whole time and he would give my hand a little squeeze if there were parts that were sad or he would look over at me to see if I liked the same parts. *le sigh* Ahhh, it was so cute and it was really a pleasant memory to sort of have him be the one who was checking up to make sure that I was enjoying myself and such).
