    Clip making

How many of you does little videos or clips for their SO to have? That's how we started talking to each other "live" so to speak, it was sort of like a video diary thing and it's a habit we still have, whenever we go out walk the dogs or have some spare time in our hands we make each other a short clip to talk about our day or just say we miss each other.
Most of the times we don't have anything too important to talk about on them though but we both love getting and doing them even if they're just a quick "I Love You"

It's also a good way to let someone you've met hear your voice, or "see" how you talk so to speak if you're nervous about that sort of thing. Cause you can make as many as you like until you're happy with it

I've sent quite a few voice clips to Ky and he has done the same for me. He has sent me little videos showing me his home and the snow (I've never actually seen snow). I've sent him a couple of little videos of me just reminding him of my feelings for him and I once recorded a birthday video message for him. I need to send him more videos and such.

        I love making videos!
If you were around for the 'old' site, the videos that George and I have made together are posted. For Valentine's Day, I'm trying my hardest to get school out of the way to create a new, small digital short for him, expressing my love, of course.

I would definitely agree with the posts above. Video 'blogging' with your SO is a great way to get comfortable 'talking' to them and showing them your everyday life, even if that is you walking the dog or cooking mac-n-cheese. Also, some phones have video-2-video share. I would send George videos to his phone, but, whenever he watches them, his phone dies instantly. [ ]

        Haha.

Well, I make quite a few clips too!

Mostly audio, using Audacity and my laptop mic. I do kind of edit it often. I add some ambient music or just a nice tune I have to it! Sometimes it's funny, sometimes I talk about something. Sometimes I sung, sometimes I read poetry. And sometime I combined these things. Really, just use your imagination to cook up something sweet!

I think it's nice to do and it's something highly personal too! I'm sure many people would appreciate it.

As well, I also agree with the video blogging. I haven't done it, but it seems like a great idea!

          Have a nice day,

          San.
Adia, you're on my mind and in my heart...

I've made a few things for the SO. I used a camera to record a short message to him last Valentine's Day. We had only started dating in Jan and were still learning to cope with the distance. I've used something I found on my computer to make short videos. The first one I did was me just playing around and testing it. I sent it for V-Day too. It was just the first few pictures we had together, love quotes, long distance quotes, lyrics, etc. I put some special dates like our first date and it to our song. The last one I made was a story about us. I wrote our meeting and relationship like a story and put pictures of us and what not. "Once upon a time there was a girl…And there was a boy. She wasn’t very trusting. Opening up to someone terrified her! She had felt the pain of heartbreak and avoided it at all costs" etc etc and ended it with "Once upon a time there was a girl…And there was a boy. And they lived happily ever after!" Just a cute a little story.

Haven't sent just voice recordings. Although I asked for one when he thought he was being deployed (they changed their minds 4 days later) so maybe I'll get one soon. =]
