    videos on facebook

so i saw someone talk about a video journal which i think is adorable!

another idea i wanted to share was simply leaving videos on your SO's facebook wall
it's a great little way to say something simple, or even take a longer video, and i love making them!

a lot of times i'll even sing little clips of songs and be dancing all goofy to make him smile, which usually works

it's enjoyable, and it's nice to get them in return too, i lovee the videos my SO leaves on my wall!

well....I love when Amanda^^ leaves videos on my wall. Ill come home from work, which is usually when she leaves me a video, and if I had a bad night, that instantly puts me in a good mood. Im starting to realize that she is really good at giving advice on here, maybe I should listen to her more!! hah I love you babe

One question, don't other people then also see the video? Is there a way to prevent that? :P I wouldn't want others to see all the personal stuff and I would love to send videos to my SO

Andy and I use Humyo to store our videos and pictures, it'll notify you with an email when someone's shared a file (e.g a video) with you and you can download and watch it. We do that a lot when we don't know when we'll talk the next time, it's just an easy -and private - way to send videos and pictures to each other which usually are too big to be sent via email.

I wouldn't feel comfortable sharing videos on his FB wall tbh where everyone could see them.

well there are plenty of other ways to send videos privatly yes, but facebook is just an easy way to say something. and yes it's not like i'd do any of the private stuff on facebook.. but i'd just say i love you, miss you.. those types of things but obviously if you want it to be private don't post it on facebook haha

I thought about doing this, but then I remembered that everybody can click on the video and I really don't want that. Even if it would just be a few words like "I love you". I would like to keep such things private. That's why I use MailVU.com to send my SO small little videos.

                  Totally agree with this.

Humyo is a great suggestion btw guys

Sending clips to one another is something we've done for aaaaaaaaages, I've got 22GB worth of pic and clips of Tanja (including ones from our times together) which is quite a lot!

I'd highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried this yet

you can also send videos on a facebook message, thats what ive always done, so no one else can see it. you just click "send a message' under their pic and then click the button to make it a video message

Me too now that I've tried it. Humyo I mean.

I tried it on Monday evening and it seemed to work. I guess I will be leaving more videos to that service from now on.
