OKAY, so Matt's coming over in less than three months. SUPER exciting, I know.
Any who, I have just booked his Christmas present. (Now, I know that he never looks at this site, despite being a member, so I am sure he won't see this.) And... I thought I would share it with you all, because I feel it something for LDR couples to do once they close the distance for a short period of time. See, Matt and I will only see each other once a year if we stay on opposite sides of the world since I'm at university and he's looking for jobs there. He can't really rely on a one year working visa to Australia for the rest of his life, so he's figuring out how to migrate. We'll see how that all goes.
Back to the present.
It is... Roar & Snore at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney. Coolest present ever, right? Seriously - go have a look at the details. I'm so happy! I didn't want to get him something he had to take back with him, because luggage will be a hassle anyway. So, yeah. I figured a day-and-a-half experience would do the trick.
For those of you who can't be bothered clicking on the link above, here's what you get to do in this program:
6.15pm: Arrival (please do not arrive early as the Zoo is closed to general visitors). Head down to campsite
6.45pm: Snack and nibbles
7.00pm: Get up close and personal with some of the Zoos friendliest creatures (great photo opportunity)
7:45pm: Buffet dinner served
9.00pm: Zoo night Safari, enjoy the animals and the amazing harbour views
10.00pm: Dessert & Tea, Coffee.
11.00pm: Camp lights out....there is an early start!
6.15am: Rise and shine -- early, I know.
6:30am: Continental breakfast
7.30am: Behind the scenes tour number 1
8.00am: Behind the scenes tour number 2
9.00am: Program finished. You are welcome to spend the rest of the day exploring the Zoo.
How much fun does that sound?!
