Donated Blood Together

Will and I donated blood together on our anniversary. It was surprisingly gratifying. It was nice to know that we were potentially helping others while spending time together. Here's a picture of us with our bandages on after we donated. ...and yeah we're wearing our LFAD bracelets too

Aww that's nice! I attempted to donate blood a few weeks ago but my blood was being a butt and wouldn't go through xD So I couldn't donate....Maybe I can but with my SO next time ^^

Sam's been donating a lot of blood before but I'm a bit afraid of needles I know it's for a good cause and I'd want to help but ahhh. Maybe I'll get over it and we can do it together one day That's a really cute idea and I'm sure it felt pretty good

To your credit, that needle is pretty intimidating. That's why I like to suggest people go with a friend on their first trip. It gives you a little moral support, or even just someone to hold your hand when the needle comes. Fortunately, it doesn't last long.

I once had to have blood drawn every other day for a year!!! Needless to say, I got over the fear of needles very quickly... I wish I could donate, but I'm too anemic so they reject my blood, lol. What a great thing to do together though, cool idea!
