What would you appreciate?

I love when he says 'I love you' first. I also love when he used to randomly text me things throughout the day and when he calls me 'love', etc.

For physical things I love when he writes me letters (we constantly send letters back and forth, no matter how much we talk on the internet), He sent me little erasers and those were pretty sweet. He sent me virtual flowers as well, twice n_n.

I'm still waiting on a shirt though. I keep saying I'm going to sneak one away but I never manage to when I'm down there, haha.

I love his poetry. He doesn't have much time to spend writing it lately so I re-read the older ones and it still makes me smile. When we finally met a couple of days ago, it was really late at night. He had a coat in the car in case I was cold and a drink as well in case I was thirsty after the flight. I love the little thoughtful things.

I love hand written notes. I told him when he gets settled in I would love to get one every now and then over email. I will send him one a month as soon as I have an address. I think they are more personal and you can spray your favorite scent of his on the paper. You can also personalize it. Before he moved to Europe we saw each other often even though he lived three hours away, which isn't far, but now we wont so I want to do things differently. I mentioned it before he left and when I see him I will let him know what things I think we should do while we are apart to make sure we don't grow apart from one another. I think many of the little things are best.


My friend and he bf send a journal back and forth when they can. They write in it to each other and put pics and stuff in it. I love that idea and will bring it up to my bf when i see him. I dont think he will be all for it but I think i can try and convince him lol

Rane says he liked snail mail letters, and anything handmade.

I was obsessed with him sending something that smelled like him... both before we met, and between trips. It never happened, but it was #1 on my wishlist. My favorite things he did send, were little trinkets I could carry around. For example, he sent me a Loonie (a one dollar Canadian coin), which became my lucky loonie, and I still carry it to this day.

I appreciate anything from him literally.
I love when I receive a letter from him in the mail, and I open it and I'm completely surrounded by his cologne.
Sometimes we put things inside the letters that will fit, and the last time he gave me something that he wore every day until he sent it and now I wear it every day.
I appreciate him being appreciative of me. Showing me how much he truly cares about me. Always, always being there for me and making me feel beautiful no matter what. He's the one person I can go to for anything.
I love it when he says I love you randomly, or first. It's something that's special to me because I don't really expect it and it takes me off guard and I instantly get very, very happy.
I'm looking forward to having one of his sweaters and a shirt.
My list could go on forever, but I'm going to stop.

I have always wanted to send my SO a build a bear (but then he would have to ship/carry it back to the US) but i have always wanted to get a build a bear, i think they are just cute and not like a normal stuffed animal because you have to put thought into it
