Any tips for good games?

I actually just got into a long distance relationship today. My best friend who lives 300+ miles away from me and I were considering it for a while, but today we finally decided to just go for it.

Anyway, I was wondering if there are any games to play which work for both Mac and PC. Even though I've actually been in a long distance relationship before, she's missing the touching and physical contact already. I suggested IMVU, but got rejected. She doesn't like that sort of games without goal. I wanted to try FLYFF, knowing that would be all right, but found out there isn't any sort of Mac version for that game.

Does anyone know any FLYFF/Luna Online (played that one before I switched to Mac) like games we could try?

Oh, I almost forgot... it has to be free.

I mean it doesn't have to be an actual game. My SO and i use POGO and they have a ton of free two player games on there...like board games and such. U could also make games up...like this weekend we did a photo scavenger hunt we each came up with a list of things to find and then we had to take pictures of the things as we found them and the first to find them all wins...or I just suggested Alphabet Games which is pretty much as simple as it seems so like A would be an Art project maybe and W could be a wordsearch...but just doing things together is the fun part of it :-) Hope this helps

One word- Minecraft.

I'm pretty sure it works on Mac and PC, a server is pretty easy to set up and it's only 20 dollars for HOURS of fun. Me and Brandon have been addicted for MONTHS!!

I know its an old fashioned but me and my SO play checkers on Skype (love that program!). If we wanna make it more fun we bet things such as statuses we want the other to post things you want the other to do...orr take off lol

Well, it depends what sorts of games you like During my LDR my SO and I went through so many games... We also met through one of them so I guess it shouldn't be a surprise ;D

I'll list a few of the ones that we liked~ (they're all free too!)

Perfect World International
Ragnarok Online
Dragonica (North American one is now called Dragon Saga)
Rose Online
Dungeon Fighter Online ("DFO")
La Tale

The ones above are all different in terms of gameplay style/art, just to give you a mixed bag to work with. Hopefully something on there will fit what both of you like! If you need any other ideas I'd be happy to delve deeper into the other games we've played XD

As for the Mac/PC compatibility, to be honest I'm not sure if all of the ones I've listed are mac compatible but they should be
