    Love Month

Soo it's February, the month that will LD even harder than normal. I've decided to do something sweet for my boyfriend each day because he's been (and so have I) really upset about us being apart again.

So day 1: I made a collage of pictures of us together, (some even from when we were only friends, which makes it interesting)

So day 2: I made a playlist of songs that remind me of him in some way
    https://www.playlist.com/playlist/21...899/standalone

    day 3:
I sent him a picture of what our 4 kids (he wants 4, I'm not sure lol) will look like according to a site I found on the list of 98 things to do with your bf on this site. So credit goes there! (morphthing.com)

    day 4: e-card! https://cdn.someecards.com/someecard...someecards.jpg

    day 5: https://365project.org/lochnessmonster/365/2011-02-05
^dedicated my 365 picture to him, and sent him a v-day card and a list of things I love about him.

I'm really not quite sure what I'm going to do the other days quite yet, I'm sure I'll think of something, BUT do you guys have any good ideas? What should be the thing on Valentine's Day? Does anyone else think this is a good idea/ are doing it themselves?

    That's really sweet!!!
I would have done it myself had I seen this sooner! Too late, now. However I may use the idea another time!
Maybe make a false rose or something on Valentine's day? Depends how you're sending all this, I guess.

Thank you! I do want to send him something besides the card I bought, (which I'll probably send with a letter & original song) but I'm really not sure. I was considering buying him that movie "Going The Distance" on amazon and having it sent to him.. Is that lame? He's a big movie freak and he told me about the movie coming out originally before we left for college (and I ended up really liking it, and it has a lot of issues in it that we face)

        On another note...
        (Just as an update)

day 4: I sent him this e-card https://www.someecards.com/thinking-...contact-person because it is just too sweet.

            Very nice....
Love is patient and kind. It does not envy or boast; is not proud, rude or self-seeking. Love is not easily angered and keeps no record of wrongs. It does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

I think that's absolutely adorable! Cute kids, btw. LOL... What is the site that you used to do that? I think my SO will get a kick out of it if I try it!

PS: "Going the Distance" was a great movie. Not lame at all! You are a good girlfriend!

Hmm an ecard is always an option. Another thing for Valentines day (that I'm doing for my SO) is getting a set of Valentine Day cards (like you get for little kids) and putting color coded numbers. Then I give him a "Discipher" Wheel so the numbers turn into letters. Each color is one word. He has to decode each letter then put them into groups and solve the puzzle. It'll be dorky but very cute and I put a candy on each card so he gets a bunch!
Good luck with that idea. It'll work really well!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that likes "Cant smile without you" by Barry Mannilow!

                      Love the collage too.

Something I've done for my SO as part of a website for our first v.day apart last year was a virtual "bookshelf" of some of our fav books. Kinda dorky but pretty cute! I used https://www.shelfari.com/
Tea and hugs make the world go round - don't ever discount the little things in life.

Smiling away to oneself brings an obscene amount of joy when only you know the reason why your smiling. Pick something secret to smile about and let it light up your face all day long!

And remember....Love really IS all around.

Ahh, I get so much crap for loving that song and Barry Manilow (even from my mother!) Love the idea, but I'm more the reader than he is, sooo that might not work! Thank you for the response though!

Cute idea! I was actually thinking of writing a message and then cutting it into puzzle pieces!

What do you think of day 7: (I just wrote a 10 minute poem for my boyfriend (for the 7th day of love month.) Lately I've been having these awful, awful nightmares that have been causing me to wake up all through the night, sweating and crying. Finally, I had this wonderful dream that I was at my boyfriend's school at a hockey game and he was showing me off to all his friends. This dream finally made me feel at peace, and I'm hoping the nightmares are through for a while. That's basically the premise of the poem. It's not by any means my best work, but I like it for a poem I whipped up in 10 minutes. I put the lyrics on a picture I took last week of a bench that made me long to have him with me. )
