Love letter/things that fit in an envelope Ideas...

My love is moving over here with me in June so he told me not to send him large gifts because it will just be more stuff for him to have to bring with him. So I'm sending him things that fit in an envelope. Here are the things I have done (or will be doing) so far:

    - Made him a card and tucked a love letter inside it
    - Cut out 8 hearts and wrote one letter each of "I love you" on them - when he gets them, he will have to line them up in order so they spell out "I love you"
    - Cut out a pile of hearts and on each one wrote a reason why I love him, and put a heart sticker on it
    - Sent him a postcard of my area, and am sending him another one with gannets on it because one of the things I'll take him to see when he lives here is the gannet colony (they migrate to New Zealand every summer to breed and raise their chicks)
    - A tape of me talking to him and reading a love poem that I really like, and my favourite children's book (need to find a tape recorder that I can plug a microphone in to so I can record this)
    - On the envelopes I stick heart stickers on the outsides.

Has anyone else got good ideas to add to the list for things that fit inside an envelope?

https://scripts.lovingyou.com/mdb/se...&cat=lovenotes <-- I found this last night, it has 55 pages of member-submitted ideas. What are some things you have done?

      Cute ideas

I took lots of post-it notes and wrote little love quotes or messages on them and drew some pictures and stuff on them. Then I put them all in an envelope and instructed him to stick them up around the apartment. That way he has little love reminders from me all over

I wrote my boyfriend a list of what I love about him tucked inside a card. It came at a really great time when he was feeling really down, so it was effective. But for the future, I was going to use this heart cut out thing i have, and write a feature or trait i miss about him on each, or maybe like a clue to a puzzle that is in the letter! that could be fun! I think anything that involves some kind of game and maybe an eventual prize is good

I do this too! I try to send my boyfriend a package or an envelope every couple weeks or so, more if he's been down or needs a little boost. I usually make him things, since I am putting myself through college and am not made of money, and he says he likes that better. I print off coloring book pages online and color them for him and for his sons. I dabble in photo editing stuff so I'll get pictures of him, his kids, or myself, touch them up and play around with effects and whatnot, then print them out so he can put them in frames or on his refrigerator. One time, I sent him a map of my college campus, and circled the buildings where I lived, ate, worked, and had class. Just little things like that make him feel less distant and more a part of my life. I also make a point to leave a lipstick kiss mark on the letters I send him. Just a little thing I do. Hope that helps!

Another idea: I wrote "you are my world" on my fingers then took a photo. I got it printed out today and am sending it to him in an envelope with confetti in it.

I wish there was a cheap way to send a bunch of easter eggs with messages and candy in them!
And speaking of the picture idea, I made my boyfriend a card on picnik.com and printed it out and sent it to him. It came out very professional looking.
