Hello all! I'm brand new here But I did something with my boyfriend that is kind of neat.

I made one of those fleece blankets, were you get 2 pieces of fleece, and cut it up and tie it together to make a nice blanket.

And what I did was sleep with it for the time while I was away from him, and then brought it with me to see him, and left it with him. The idea then is that he'll sleep with it and then bring it to me.

Except I made it WAY too big so it was kind of hard to take with me on the plane each time, and he lives in Florida so he can't sleep with it because of the heat. If he lived in a cooler climate I'd make another one and make it much smaller so I can pack it with me, but I think it's a nice idea.

I think this is a great idea!! My BF is in Chicago and I think he would love it!! Since I'm in WI I'm sure I would too!!

Haha yes, definitely! I didn't think of the prospect of him having 80 degree + nights and not requiring a fleece blanket. I am thinking of making a teeny version so he can just cuddle with it and then I get his scent!

My boyfriend and I trade his jacket back and forth. I sleep with it so it smells like me when he gets it back. I like the blanket idea better though!!!

When my fiance moved back to Las Vegas he left me his blanket, I slept with it because it still smelled like him. Then I washed it right before I went to visit him. & While I was there I made him sleep with it. I brought it back with me. When I visit again I'll wash it right before and take it back so he can sleep with it while I'm there again, that way its not filthy dirty, but I still get to cuddle with something that keeps me warm and smells like him <3
