So, my SO likely can't come visit me at my Peace Corps post because it would be completely culturally inappropriate for an unmarried woman to host a man (even though I've been describing him as my finace - something we discussed before I left). The only way he could is if my father or brother accompanied in order to chaperone and protect my honor. Sucks I can't share such a huge part of my life with him :-( Maybe if we get married someday, we can visit Jordan together and I can introduce him as my husband - but we shall see!
That said, we're planning on meeting up in Greece this summer. I honestly was surprised that I knew very little about Greece! Anyone have any tips. We're wanting to find a nice inexpensive resort for a day or two on one of the islands at some point during the trip. The rest will be hostels and backpacking sites though!
