We don't know how to get him a visa please help
I live in Hungary and my boyfriend lives in Iraq. We are together for a year now without meeting. His family promised us in last October that he can visit me this summer. I had been asking them to start getting it in March because I knew it would take time but his parents kept saying "nooo it's fine we can get it in a week" Bullshit. However it's August and still nothing. His parents actually don't even give a shit about helping us so we are trying to organize everything but how? We are just 2 unexperienced 18 years old kid who have no idea what to do. Maybe we could make things work if I got an invitation letter but my mom also doesn't want to help me. Please if someone outside of the schengen zone has experience with getting a schengen visa, please write down your thoughts and tips I really need it because I have no idea what to do anymore.
