I've been going to see my SO through Amtrak, and while the price isn't really that bad, I was just wondering if anyone has any travel options that they know to be cheaper than the train? Greyhound Buses are usually about the same price and a longer travel time, and Megabus doesn't go straight to Sandusky from Schenectady like Amtrak does, and honestly I'm nervous to do the transfers alone. Any help would be much appreciated!

Honestly Megabus gives great deals and the transfers aren't hard at all. I have really bad anxiety, expecially when traveling alone, but I paid attention and asked everyone working at the bus stations where to go and to make sure everything was on time and such. Then I'd ask each driver to make sure I was getting on the right bus. If you think you can handle it, Megabus is definitely the solution to pick
