Visiting US so soon after student visa expires

Hi guys,

Long story short, I met my SO while I was on a semester exchange program last year. My student visa ended at the end of Jan and im visiting the states again in a few weeks to visit her on spring break.
Will visiting so soon after my student visa expiring be an issue? What do i say at immigration? (I've been told to say that im just visiting friends) Im still in school and graduate in the summer if that helps.

I don't see why it should be any problem if you can show a proof that you are still in school, need to go back home and you'll have your return ticket

Yup! Just make sure that you have proof that you're renting an apartment or are still in school or whatever else can prove that you're coming back. I highly doubt you'll need it though.
