Social countdown app, cool for LD visit waiting!

I don't think I've seen this app posted here? Apologies if I've missed it.

Anyway Tikr is an iApp, free. Friends can hook up and watch each others countdowns. I like it for the long countdowns to visits best, but also anniversaries, birthdays, etc. The social aspect is what made it unique, so I thought I'd share. Let me know if you d/l, or already have it?

That looks like a cool app. I downloaded but I'm not sure it's my cup of tea. I don't want to make my countdown public and I like my ways of doing countdowns better. I have them on this site, my tumblr site, and well I did have one on my laptop but recently got a new one so not at the moment. But it does look cool. I have it but will use it for personal use I guess. Just another countdown app for me. I don't like the sharing aspect but I guess it could be cool for others.

They can be private. You just click the word "public" while creating the countdown, and it changes to "private." I understand it isn't going to be a winner for everyone though.
