    A visit and..... common cold

I have my SO in my bed and it shuold make me so happy, but instead it makes me worried. Because he's in bed with fever and awfull cold.

I'm feeling something getting me as well so it looks like we are soon going to have a hospital here. (Something's getting my kido too)

    *whine whine*

But I'm glad he's here, I'll TRY to pamper him into health

Lots of chicken soup! If its not coming out his nose, its not enough :P Also, warm showers help. Sweat out the germs!

Also, try drinking lemon tea (add honey); taking a couple of paracetamol at the same time can help to break a fever. Plus orange juice for vitamin C! The last time I went to stay at my SO's place I came down with an awful cough and cold 48 hours after I'd arrived. Didn't take me more than a few days to bounce back from it though, hopefully it will be the same for you guys

Aww chick I feel for you. I went through the same thing with my fiance about a week give or take before he went home last visit in Feb. I came down with pharyngitis and a sinus infection and the poor guy while trying to take care of me wound up with it before he went home. I felt so bad. But it seems like everyone here has given you some good advice, the only thing I will add is plenty of rest too when possible. Don't over exert yourself.

I got sick when I went to visit my SO-- just a cold, as expected, especially in a new environment (both climate and country). My SO was pretty cute and made sure I had tea and tissues. It's gonna happen at some point during your lives... so I guess this is a bonding experience! Just make sure you guys take it easy, rest, cuddle, lots of fluids, the usual.

Ha, I feel you. My SO came home from work and then was called out again for two hours (boo!) and in that time I managed to get a fever, crawl in bed and text him that I wasn't feeling good enough and I'd probably be asleep when he gets home. He came home soon after and I screamed at him to get off me because he was waaaay too cold - fevers are no fun.

Hope you all get over it quickly!
                So, here you are
                too foreign for home
                too foreign for here.
                Never enough for both.
