Long distance relationship

I met this lad on a dating website called pof we have been talking since 30 June and we got together on 7th July a week ago we met up we really like one on other we text and phone very day but he's started to have sort conversations on the phone and on Facebook I really like him So is there any tips you can give me for this situation meany thanks love-muffin24

He also told me he's genuine :-)

I really wish for you the best. Try to communicate in some way every day, more than once if possible. And try to make the time to visit each other as often as possible or as often as your budget permits. A relationship cannot thrive if the only thing you have is the phone call. You need to see each other in person at every opportunity. Visit on a regular schedule if you can; if you can't, make plans for the next visit as soon as each one ends.

Really LDRguru??? My relationship is thriving, I'm happier than I've ever been, and I've never met my SO in person!

For a lot of people on here, visiting regularly is not an option. Some of us are opposite sides of the planet to our beloved. That doesn't mean our relationships don't thrive, every one is different.

We have our first visit in a few weeks time. The chances of closing the distance any time soon are pretty remote but both of us would rather have it this way than not at all. It is what is it is and as long as both parties are happy, there are no issues.
