    Next Visit Help!!

My SO came to visit me for the first time July 3rd- July 17th, now it's my turn. However; I have university coming up in August so how do I tell or ask my parents that I wish to go to England? Both are very overprotective and I don't blame them. I have grown afraid that they will tell me to focus on my studies.
I have never traveled outside the United States or Mexico so they may not want me to travel alone. How do I tell my parents that I don't want my SO to always be visiting me but I can't visit him in his home place? (I don't want the relationship to seem one sided or unfair)
Should I stop worrying and just go with the flow?
I appreciate all the advice thanks xx

I'd advise asking your parents first before worrying about packing or customs. Have they met your SO? If so that might make it easier. Maybe get them to talk to your SO's parents might help put them at ease.

If you have university coming up around mid August you better hurry if you need to buy tickets, travel insurance and possably get yourself a passboard - and enjoy some time with him before your uni starts. You might find this page useful: https://www.visitbritain.com/en/Trav...d-immigration/
I made love to him only twice, she thought and looked at the man laying asleep beside her. And yet still it is as if we have been together forever, as if he has always known my life, my soul, my body, my light, my pain

Personally, I think you should plan on visiting him during your semester break. I know that's a long time from now, but that way you'll have your first semester of college done. Are you moving away from home for college, or staying nearby and living at home? In either case, you can use this opportunity to prove to your parents that you are responsible and, you can work on saving up money and doing research for your trip.

I think that for now you both should go ahead and focus on university at firts... Remember plane tickets are expensive and getting everything ready before starting your semester is going to be hard... Also if you finish your semester properly and with good grades your parents will be happy... and if you start introducing the idea of you traveling on your own starting from now and they see good results during your semester they will probably find it easier to actually let you travel alone Don't rush things... Do it with time and you'll see it will workout as it should!

Us as parents maybe... just maybe :P ..... are a little bit over the top when we find out that our kids are growing up. But it just takes us a little bit of time to agree, specially if we are well informed of the situation and we have great communication! So HOORAY for your parents and you!!
