    The hunt is on!

I am leaving my SO in South Carolina today after a great week together. We both had to work this morning, him at the office and me at his house. On a break between conference calls, I made him up several little notes and put them in places around the house. My guess is it will take him around a week to find all of them.

    They are located....

By his toothbrush in the bathroom
By his bed (that one is obvious and has some nice dark chocolate and a proper short letter)
In the box of his favorite tea
In the pocket of his smoking jacket
One is going to go in his car by where he keeps his sunglasses so he gets that one right away
One is inside a book he is reading

There are a couple more and I'm already forgetting where I put them all, but they are all in spots I saw him go to during the course of the week.

I sure hope he likes them.

This is really cute! I always mean to do something like this but forget to slip a note in my SO's luggage when he leaves. I would love to find notes all over when he's gone!

Annnnnnnd, stolen. I've heard an idea something like this before and I think I need to try it when I visit my SO.

That's so sweet! I'm sure he'll be over the moon when he finds each one, especially if he's a big chocolate fan (nice touch by the way).

It really wasn't too hard to do. It wasn't elaborate at all. I had some plain copy paper in my work stuff so I just wrote some notes up (some that were specific to where I put them and some that were not) and put them in various places. It took me around 15 minutes to do 8 notes and hide them.

We went to lunch on our way to the airport. I slipped one into the inside pocket of his coat while he was in the restroom that said "I miss you already." I am betting he will find it when he gets home this evening.

Hah! That reminds me of something I did way back! I had a note cards left so I wrote "I love you" on them and hit them all over the room and whenever he would find it, he was supposed to let me know It took him almost a year to find all of them :P

I am soooo tempted to do this for my SO when I go over to meet her in June, although I guess the notes will have to be all hidden in her room as she lives with a housemate. From the amount of presents I've sent her i'm pretty sure I'll have a lot of places to hide them even just within her room haha :3

I did that the last time I was at my SO's office. Left them hidden the everywhere. He loved it.

I love him. Forever. And every day after that.

J found all his notes by the end of the day yesterday. I deliberately put them places I thought he'd find pretty quickly and the one he hadn't found when I talked to him, I gave him a hint and he found it while on the phone with me.

I'm sick today, so I miss him more. I just left 3 days ago.
