I met my not-boyfriend-yet through work and so far the only time we've been able to spend time together is when I was in his city on assignment. Each time I've been there, was for a two week work stint, during which time we were together almost every night. Next weekend I am supposed to go for our first official visit with zero work involved, and I'm dreading it. We aren't official yet, and both scared of getting hurt. We talk or text every day in between, and we said if we happened to meet anyone else we would be forthcoming, and he says he hasn't met anyone but it's hard to believe that he would wait around for someone who might or might not make it back his direction. I am super excited to see him, but also dreading the goodbye part of it. The last time I had to say goodbye was horrible. He was more nonchalant about it, but when I tried to take a step back he wouldn't let me. Can someone please talk me down??
