Like a Brit, yes, I am moaning about the weather I miss the summer. In the UK this year the weather has been dreadful. The past 5 months it seems to have done nothing but rain all day. Other people from the UK will know exactly what I mean There's been flooding and quite a few people have lost their homes. It's on the news everyday, how people have been made homeless, some people have died and how others are struggling to reclaim possessions from the ruins of their home. I live in North Wales, where some of the worst hit areas are. Fortunately by some miracle, my family and I managed to avoid the majority of the flooding. We've only had minor flooding in the garden and on the road, nothing that would put our home at risk.
Whatever happened to the sun? Aside from a few days where it was really nice, it just seems to have disappeared! It was gorgeous and sunny in April/May. Then the sun seemed to have given up for the most part. I envy people living in warmer countries like my other half. He lives in Arizona where it's pretty much sunny all the time, some of his sunshine would be very welcome indeed xD
I find it funny cause farmers were moaning we were in drought earlier this year. Now they've gotten like double the rain they wanted and probably more. Be careful what you wish for!!

I hate cold, I hate rain, I hate snow... that's why I love my job. ... ... ...and too bad about those flooded areas in the UK, but sunny countries like the Philippines have suffered the same fate this year already as well...

#2squeeker commentedSeptember 30, 2012, 10:19 AMEditing a commentI know what you mean. I was around North Wales too this summer with my boyfriend (came home yesterday, sucks!) and it was raining most of the trip. Of course I still loved it because I was with my boyfriend. And where I am now, my family home, they've had record dry season... in BC, Canada. I might seem weird for not liking the fact that I'm somewhere dryer now.. but I think you'll all understand that being with your partner would make any weather seem amazing. lol I hope you get some better weather soon!
