So here i am, writing my first blog entry, to my first blog in life. Wow! i can feel the rush : p
I think this first post will consist of introducing myself, for i don't think i ever did this properly, and ive been here since august 2009 so thats the least you guys deserve! a little background please ; )

when one asks me where i'm from, i always answer its a complicated issue. I am Greek, Lebanese, born in Cuba, and have always lived in Lebanon. (yes i know, you should see the face of the lady when i was at my interview for a visa to the USA ) and even in Lebanon it would get complicated, because we are citizens of Beirut, the capital, but have lived in the Keserwan for 5 years, and then the North for 19 years (the last 6 of them i was back in Beirut at my grandmother's for university) and as of the first of May 2009 the whole family has moved near Jounieh.

I am 25 years old today, the eldest in a loud crazy family of 5 children (and one dog), all living under one roof, with my grandmother too, and i love it! it doesnt feel crowded to me, although it can seem pretty scary to a lot of people... yes it wasn't always super fun/ orderly growing up, but i wouldn't imagine it any other way.. i think families are meant to be large : )

i am currently preparing my final project for my architecture degree, this is my seventh year of university, and i hope it will be my last : ) i should rephrase that, "i hope i will have my degree by the end of the year"; because one of the things i love the most is learning new things, and i think theres a very good chance i'll study other things too, like urbanism or landscaping

By the title of my blog i think you will have guessed Architecture is a big part of my life.. like any other professional trade, it is not a JOB, its so much more.. its always there, in your head, in your blood, in your dreams, always a part of who you are and how you think.. to me architecture is magic.. and its everywhere! all around us, at our service.. from the buildings we live in, to the utensils we use, to the outdoor places we occupy and grasp, to the feeling of presence and existing...there is space everywhere, and in everything, and architecture is the relation between man and space... see it only took me two phrases to get all excited :o
Dear reader, whoever you are, i am honored to have you pass by...

this is my favorite family picture, it was taken in 2003 so everyone has changed but i just love it : )
