Been here for 3 days. I still haven't settled in completely. I'm waiting to receive the rest of my stuff. I think this room is going to need just a smidge of organization. Right now my SO just throws his clothing all over the floor and the area where he keeps his game consoles is rather messy and sloppy. If he wants to use my consoles he's going to have to help me clear that area up a bit.

Day 1: I got absolutely no sleep. I could not sleep on the planes had I wanted to. They were both quite short and the second one was quite bumpy since it was a propeller plane. When I got there we went out for pizza, then headed home and relaxed a bit before heading out. We both needed to buy a few things.
Day 2: I got to go to his D&D game night with him. I watched them as they played some other RPG, not D&D, not sure what it was. They were friendly, but I got the vibe that a few of them weren't intending on making friends with me. Two of the group members were quite friendly with me, one never spoke a word to me other than hi, one couldn't even remember my name and proceeded to refer to me as "J's girlfriend" the entire night, and the other kind of just gave me that sassy kind of vibe in personality and people who are like that tend to not warm up to people all that quickly. They tend to see new people as a potential invaders and someone who could cause a disturbance in the force and that invader needs to prove to them that they're not an invader. After D&D we went out to find food. Everything is within an okay walking distance. And if not, you can hop on the bus.
Day 3: My SO's mom had previously invited us over, and offered to give my SO a hair cut while we were there. She offered to meet us at the dock and pick us up in her speed boat. I thought it'd just be a ride to her house, she lives right off of the water, but her husband ended up taking us for a joy ride and stopped at a water-side pub. They showed me the water view of a lot of locations in town. I never realized just how hilly it was until you look at it from the middle of a lake. Anywho, I got sun burnt badly. I was a little grumpy about it. Earlier in the morning my SO asked me if I wanted to go to his mom's house via boat. We had been doing a lot of walking the past few days so at first I said I didn't want to because to meet her at the docks we'd have to walk a half an hour in the noon sun on a hot day. He said it was probably too late to say no anyway because his mom had texted him telling him they were on their way. And on the way back I tried to request just a drive home, but they were under-estimating just how easily I sun burn. So now I am all red. It's like I didn't even put sunblock on (which I did...). On the walk back we stopped at a few places, including the place he works at. He was introducing me to all of his co-workers which was nice.

He's back at work today so I've spent some time organizing and cleaning our room a little. Thankfully there was already a spare desk in the room so I am just going to use this one. It just needed some cleaning. The house is very peaceful and quiet. I don't even mind that we are just renting out a room. The down stairs is completely the home owners. And the up stairs is the tenants. Me, SO, and some other guy. The other guy is hardly ever home. The home owners are really nice and so far helpful. We're obviously allowed to use stuff like the kitchen and their laundry room. Other than that we're always up stairs.

Stuff I need to do:
- Basic grocery shopping
- Clothing basket(s)
- Hangers
- Mini fridge?
- A way to store my makeup and art supplies
- Stamps & envelopes if SO doesn't have any
- Learn bus routes & stops
- Mail my W2s and forms to the college
- Make sure my doctor's office sent my forms to the college.
