How can you say you love someone yet cut them out of your life one day entirely?.....and I mean every aspect of of it right down to even a friendly message about making sure they are safe in this current climate.

Me and my guy split up for 5 weeks, after a long period of one sided affection. I still couldn't leave him despite the pain he'd caused me, so I pushed him into doing it.
I took a week away from contacting him, after 4 weeks of clinging on in agony because I'd lost my entire world when we split. I was heartbroken and longed for death if I had to be without him.
On the last day I didn't speak to him, he emailed me to check I was ok. He was worried that I might have gotten ill in that week.
Personally, I don't think you can truly be in love with someone if you can cut them off permanently. You can love them from a distance, but not actively be in love. That's my thoughts and experience anyway.
I'm sorry you are going through something like that. There aren't the words to ease the pain, no matter how many times you've been there before.
