This is the first time I'm writing an article here, and I thought about using this blog as memories of our visits, as I don't want to flood the Visit & First Time Meetings section.

I first visited my SO in Korea, her country, in February 2017, about six months and a half after we started our LDR. As I was tired from the long flights (three hours from Paris CDG to Helsinki, and about nine hours from Helsinki to Seoul Incheon), when I was unable to sleep, we didn't do many things. I met Jieun's parents for the first time in real life - I've seen them once before, during a video call, and they instantly liked me - and we ate at her place - we decided to take a hotel since we considered it as more appropriate for a first time meeting. We then went spend a couple of hours in Dongdaemun, where we ate dalggochi (a kind of very big chicken skewer) and tonkatsu. Since I was tired early, we went back to our hotel.

On the second day, we spent our day in Myeongdong, where there are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants (and street food).

We ate Myeongdong kalguksu and mandu (like Chinese manju), at a restaurant called Myeongdong Gyoja, which I recommend if you visit Seoul. There are big bowls, and smaller ones in which we help ourselves.

We then went to LINE Friends, a shop with the mascots of the Japanese app LINE, and to Artbox, in the same street, in which there is also some gwiyeowo (cute) stuff.

(lol at us pretending to be rappers)

Here's a view of Myeongdong at night, before we had dinner in Hongdae.

We went some other times to Myeongdong, mainly to eat and wander in the streets.

And to have fun as well. Notice the entry of the police station : impossible to find this in France.
