As we were leaving the next day, going back to Korea, we decided to spend Valentine's Day in Yokohama, one of my favourite cities ever. As it is the second biggest city in Japan, I decided to show Jieun what I was shown by my friends during my first trip to Japan 10 months earlier. We took a first train from Higashi-Jujo station to Yokohama station, then a second train to Motomachi-Chukagai station, so we started our day at Yokohama Chinatown.

Look at this happy face.

Our Chinese lunch.

The two dragons (Jieun's Chinese zodiac is dragon)

We then walked to Yamashita Park, which was partly closed.

Yokohama Stadium - not to be confused with Nissan Stadium, which hosted the final of FIFA World Cup 2002. This one is a baseball stadium, located next to Yamashita Park.

After this we went to Aka-renga Souko (Red Brick Warehouse), next to the harbour. We had a snack and took the seabus to go from there to Minato-Mirai 21, one of the busiest areas of Yokohama.

Exit of the seabus at Minato-Mirai 21.

We then spent some time at a little amusement park, and then went to see the lightshow of the ferris wheel, called Cosmo Clock.

Landmark Tower. We had dinner close to there.

Sashimi and sake (nihonshu). When the waitress served us sake, we got more than the shot..

Kanpai (cheers)

We then went back to our hotel in the north of Tokyo. The next day we had our flight back to Korea. We still remember our first Valentine's Day and how special it was to us. More special than the second one, this year, when we both were working..
