I have been working retail since October and with the holidays, it's been insane but I had a lot of hours. More hours=more money!!
For about six weeks, I was doing 40 hours a week and the big checks were coming in. It's been good being able to pull myself out of debt. I'm getting closer to being back on the plus side instead of the red. 
I love my job! My coworkers are AMAZING and I get along great with all of them. I've never worked in an environment as pleasant as this. We had a secret Santa and all went out do dinner after work to celebrate the holiday season craziness being done and to exchange presents. It was a great time! They were going to keep us all temporarily for the holidays, but my manager loved all of us and kept us all! I am going back to school in 2 weeks!!! After a year off from being kicked out of my program, I am going to another school. My plans have changed and I will be going for professional communications! I should only have two semesters left until I finish my bachelors! I am so excited to finally get this degree and start my career. I cannot wait to go back. I've missed school.
Everything with Jim is better than ever! We had a rough patch around Thanksgiving. He was stressed out with school, his job on campus and all the filming he had to do. I was also stressed with crazy holiday hours and exhaustion. Also, my grandpa had been sick in the middle of November, and passed away on Thanksgiving morning. So, I had the wake and the funeral, but Jim was home for Thanksgiving spending the holiday with his family. He was so supportive of me through it all even though he couldn't be there. But, we would bicker about little things and fought a lot. But, we decided to talk things out one night and we came to a mutual understanding. Everything turned around for the better and we are so close. On December 18th, we celebrated our one year anniversary! The year flew by. I never knew a person could make me smile as much as he can. We went to dinner and got dressed up. Then, we went to the beach and drove through their Christmas lights show. It was so much fun!
We enjoyed our time together and we got to fall asleep in each other's arms. We are now long distance again because he went home for winter break. I am visiting him this weekend. I am supposed to get there on Friday morning, but I've been in touch with his mom and we are planning a surprise. I will probably be going up on Thursday night and surprising him. I am sooo excited! I miss him. We didn't get to spend Christmas or New Years Eve together, so we are going to recreate a New Years kiss by watching the ball drop on Youtube and kissing at midnight. Then, Saturday is his mom's birthday so in the morning, we are going to celebrate Christmas and exchange presents. Then, we are going to attempt to make her a birthday cake and we're gonna have a birthday celebration for her that night. Can't wait to see him again.Well, that's the latest from me!
