Just had my interview! I think it went well. Of course the one thing they're worried about is the fact I've never taught Chemistry or IB before. I hope I impressed them through everything else enough that they can overlook that and give me the chance.
I also hope I made a good impression as there were times I couldn't understand them. Both were British and talking on a speaker phone. Now it's hard for me to understand speaker phone and add British into it just made it worse. (No bad intentions British guys, I don't have a problem with the way you guys talk, just made it harder to understand!)
They said they would call me within the next 2 weeks. Great. Now I have to worry for 2 weeks. But I did the best I could. My SO was sitting next to me and said I did great. So we'll see.........
British people ARE hard to understand! They have so many different accents and they speak SO fast, I struggle to understand Andy sometimes when we're on the phone, especially if there's any other noise in the background.
Let's hope for the best and fear for the worst - no matter what happens you did your best
