The Waiting Game

Posting about the same old same old... I had my interview for my job the week before last. They said they would contact me in 2-3 weeks since last week was Semana Santa (Easter week) and everything shuts down. So I'm hoping to hear about the job by the end of this week, or beginning of next. And so now I'm just compulsively checking my email every 10 minutes to see if there's news... uggghhh!

Also I had my surgery a week ago today and my foot is doing pretty well. My incisions are nicely healing. The one problem I'm having is the swelling. Last time I had surgery it took A YEAR for the swelling to stop. It just makes it extremely uncomfortable to have your feet down for any period of time. I'm hoping things heal up quicker this time. Here's to hoping!
