I tried to talk with my boss all this week to ask for time off to go home in May for my mom's wedding and brother's graduation. I was originally going to ask for 3 days (Thurs-Mon) but then someone told me she once got TWO WEEKS off to go visit family. So I was like what the hell, I'ma ask for a full week. AND SHE'S GOING TO LET ME DO IT!

Woooo! WOOOOO!

So then I spent a full hour trying to figure out how to get home before my brother's graduation on Saturday morning. It was impossible and terribly frustrating. Almost all flights had me leaving Friday night to get there SATURDAY night. Same deal coming back. Then I found out the graduation is actually on FRIDAY So after talking to my mom, I just am going to skip it. I mean I can only fly in when flights allow me. I finally found a reasonable flight that has an overnight layover in MIA, where I have a friend I can crash with.

I am so stupid excited!!!! It'll be my first time home in 9 months! I'll get home on the 12th when we'll have my brother's graduation party. Then the 13th is MY birthday! Then the 19th is my mom's wedding! Shut up this is going to be too much fun! I should start preparing my kidneys right now...

Still need to get my SO a ticket. He won't take off as much work as I will. I'm hoping he'll come Wednesday at least!
