I have to make my border run today. My SO and I went last night to buy my bus tickets and all the early bus tickets were sold out. So I'm taking the afternoon bus. And since it's at least 9 hours in bus (depending on how long the border takes) that means I'll get to Granada between 9 and 10pm. My bus leaves the next day at 6am because I'd rather get back to San Jose early so I can rest a little before going back to work on Monday. So basically I'll be on a bus for double the amount of time I'll be in Granada.

I wasn't really excited about going to Granada, in fact I was dreading it, but I finally decided to make the most of it. Granada is a beautiful city and I thought I could at least take a walk around and eat some street meat. But now even that plan is slashed. I'll get there at night, overpay a taxi driver to take me to my hostel, go to sleep, wake up, overpay a taxi driver to take me to the bus stop, and then get on the bus to go home.

*sigh* This is going to be exhausting.

Now to attempt to find some cordoba (Nicaraguan money) so I don't have to give the taxi 5USD when it should be less than 1USD.

Here's some pictures of Granada for those who have never been (probably most of you)
