Some of you read my post about me not wanting to awkwardly go to a hotel on my wedding night. I found a great option of having the whole family go to a nearby hot spring, and then we just spend the night while the rest of the family leaves. We would be sleeping in a train caboose, no heat, no lights, but it does have a fireplace. It just sounds awesome to me, and my SO is psyched about it too.

Well I just wrote and turns out for weekends there is a 2 night minimum. The price of the train isn't too expensive, it's actually one of the cheaper accommodations in the town. And I wouldn't mind spending two nights. I mean you only get married for the first time once, right? BUT! It's a 15 minute ride out of town, up a unpaved road that requires either chains or 4-wheel drive. So it's inconvenient to have to rely on someone else to come pick us up and drop us off every day. Especially since both my aunt and uncle work. My dad will be renting a car, but I'm not sure if he's going to get 4-wheel drive or not. It's a really small town, so no taxis or buses. I did see a shuttle but it's $35 per person!!! For a 15 minute ride? Forget it!

So, should we give up on the train and find a hotel in town? Or pay the two nights and just make people cater to us?
