Ioanna called it- biweekly wedding stuff! I was trying really hard to wait a few more days to post, but I'm just excited about stuff! You all have heard this speech before.. can't talk to anyone.. etc etc.

So! Shoes have been ordered (in purple). My sister paid for them! Woo! They've already arrived at my mom's house and she says they're super cute. Hope they fit! Aaaannnddd my petticoat was ordered! My mom paid for it! Yippee! So I have somehow ended up with a purple color scheme. I guess that's nice? I think I might have decided to do the button bouquet in purple and blue buttons to try to make it a little less tacky. Although I probably will still put in a few bottle caps.

My SO has picked out my ring with help from my mom. I totally thought they were getting a ring from my grandma, but turns out it might not be after all! So now I'm all excited.

Also! My SO has finally decided on his ring. I posted this picture before but here it is again in case your memory lapsed. He'll get the bigger one. We'll have it engraved "Oscar & Signe 1/12/13" I kind of wanted it to say "Oscar y Signe" but I guess he thought that was stupid. Whatever He also decided to go with the American version for the date. I think it makes more sense like that anyways... but anyways! We still have to go to the mall and feign interest in a ring to get him measured.

The bummer thing is my debit card doesn't work anymore. The bank was informed that my debit card was "compromised" and so they sent out a new one. Well since my mom wasn't looking for it, she threw it away. So I've had to request another card to be sent to my mom's house. Once it gets in I'll have her buy the ring online with my card. And then my card will just sit there until she can give it to me in January.

Oh- and duh- totally forgot to ask. I want to bring little wedding favors to the people who are coming. I was thinking bottle of local hot sauce or local liquor (guaro) but that means people would have to check their bags and I know how much my dad hates doing that. We were also looking at beer coolies (coozies some people call them?) that have Costa Rica on them. I think those would be nice for my scumbag family, but we're also inviting a couple who would never in their lives use a beer coolie. jaja Also considered these little mango-wood candles. It's certainly a dust-collecting POS, but I guess it's nice? We don't want to spend tons of money, but I think it would be nice to get a little something for everyone who comes. And I'd really prefer to give something people would actually use. Thoughts?

Aaaaand I guess that's it!

I'm so excited I can barely stand it!
