So I have FINALLY finished my bouquet. All I had to do was attach the fabric around the buttons. I kept putting it off because I had no idea how to do it. Then the other day I was bored and my SO was taking a nap, so I just put a whole bunch of glue on it and smushed the fabric down. It seems to have worked! I think it's super adorable. The only problem is the fabric takes up a good portion of the already flimsy handle. I guess it's not too big a deal, but if I were ever to make a button bouquet again (which I never will so help me god!) I would make a more substantial handle.

(Don't make fun of what I'm wearing... But I will use this time to make a shameless plug for my fuzzy slippers. They are AWESOME. They're like little Eskimo boots. They also have cowboy boots. And Sherpa boots. Here's a link. They're a little pricey, but they are so adorable! The company is Ciccia Bella, you kind of have to search for them a little. Great Christmas present!! )

Perlita says "HOLA!"

(Also, it's hard to tell, but I did get my hair cut! I got blunt bangs and some layering. I think the lady did a great job.)

So the other thing is I just told my mom I'm planning on having a bachelorette party while in the USA. So I guess she thinks I meant with her and my family... Which I most certainly didn't. I mean honestly, my family is lots of fun, but I kind of want a girls night. And not just a girls night, a *young* girls night. I want to drink stupid flavored martinis and flirt with the bartender (male or female, I don't discriminate!) She says my kind of freakshow cousin will want to come, and I guess it would be okay. But not my mom. Not her husband. I mean... gross!

I'll just tell her NO. She'll be cool with it. I'm going to be spending a full week with my family. I deserve one night away with my friends!
