Yesterday I went on a field trip with my school to the Parque de Diversiones, amusement park. I only went on a few rides, as I expected most were carnival rides. And I just don't like the ones where it feels like someone is sucking your face off your skull with a plunger. I would rather be hurled at 100 mph or down a 300+ ft hill
But there was a pretty good little coaster there. It was only about 150 ft tall, but it was pretty fast and fun.But the main thing I realized yesterday is how much I'm going to miss my job when we move back to the USA. I almost hate talking about how much I like my job with my SO because I know how much his sucks and how excited he is to go back. But man, my job is awesome. If it were up to me, we'd stay in CR for at least another year. I mean my kids are GREAT. They're so much damn fun and really nice. All yesterday I hung out with them, going on rides and stuff. And they kept saying "you're the coolest teacher!" Which, ya know, could be something they say to all their other teachers as well. But man I had a blast. I love corrupting their lives, too. We were supposed to meet back at 2:30pm but I convinced a group of them to go on one last ride with me. They were all worried about being late and I was like "when they say 2:30, they really mean 3:00" So they were all laughing and a little nervous. I assured them if anyone would get in trouble, it would be me not them. Anyways. I just had a blast and I'm going to be so freaking sad when I have to leave.
My SO got a new shirt and tie to go with his royal blue suit. I think he looks so freaking handsome. The tie came with a pocket square and I folded it into two points. It looks great. The wedding is tonight, I'll put all those pictures up on facebook.
But look how damn good looking he is! God damn I'm lucky!
I'm going to try to whip up a quick little purse before tonight. I forgot to buy one, and I want a place to put my camera for sure and of course lipstick!
It won't turn out super nice because I have no idea how to say "interfacing" in Spanish, and my SO will not know either. I'll just try to find some fabric with a little weight to it.Got to get off to the feria! Have to make sure I have time to nap today
