Lots of pictures coming your way!

I brought home some nice purple table cloths from my mom's house. Today I went out and bought a few things to try to come up with centerpiece ideas for the party. I showed my SO the bottles and such that I posted here before and he looked at me like I was crazy. He likes simple and clean, so I tried to get some stuff to reflect that.

I randomly just bought lots of stuff today. If I don't use it, it's really no big deal. Everything together cost $14 so it's all good. Anyways. I bought a mirror, I saw lots of stuff on pintrest where they put the candles or whatever on mirrors and I thought that looked nice. I found 6 medium sized glasses that I think look enough like candle holders to pass. I got 5 (they only had 5!) small tea-light candle holders. And one tall frosted vase. I could go back and buy more, but because all the other glass I bought was clear I was worried the frosted on would clash. But it was the only one I found that I liked! All the other vases were enormous. So opinions on centerpiece-- (candles are just for show, I would buy white candles for the day)

Here is the mirror with the frame, the frosted vase (I would put flowers in it), medium sized glass and tea-light. The purple tablecloth it is on is what we will use. I'm not a huge fan of the frame, but I also don't hate it. I figure I could paint it or something?

Without the frame. Which I think I like a lot more.

With the two medium sized glasses instead of all 3 sizes. I won't say why I don't like this version and see if anyone else mentions it.

Just the vase and the medium glass. I've always heard you should put things in groups of threes, it's more pleasing to the eye. But how about two? If I don't use the small holders or medium holders on the mirror I'll just spread them around the table.

Thoughts? Ideas? Instructions? I could probably find a non-frosted vase if I look harder. Today I only went to two stores.

Onto SHOES!

I think I decided to stick with my original wedding dress, because I'm lazy and don't feel like finding another one. Plus I really do like it, it's pretty.

Here's my shoe choices. I bought the purple ones for my dress, but I thought maybe they were too dressy? I don't know. I will be wearing this purple flower in my hair. If that makes any difference.

(not the pink sneakers... )

I think I could last the whole night in the gold shoes or red shoes, more likely the red ones. Any of the other ones I would hands down have to change into flip-flops. Which is fine, I have no problem doing that. Just take a few pictures with the SO in my nice shoes, and change to flip-flops for the dancing!
