...but visa people have fucked me. Again.

I got a "checklist" for one of the packets I sent in, that means there's something wrong with it. They say I put the wrong number for "total income 2012", but I re-checked (because I make copies of fucking everything) and it's the right number! When I told them that they said "oh, sorry about that, but you still need to send it in again" The other part said that I needed to include proof of employment, but since I work abroad I don't need to include it since my employment will NOT continue when we move to the USA. So they said "you need to write a letter explaining that". Why? I put my annual income as $0, I'm not using annual income to prove support.

So they fucked me. I did nothing wrong, but I still got fucked. Again. This time it'll put us back about two weeks.

At the USCIS stage, I got an RFE (saying something is wrong) for sending in a marriage certificate that was registered. I sent in a CERTIFIED COPY. The only way you can get a CERTIFIED COPY is if it's REGISTERED!!!

I hate all visa people in the USA.

I'm now worried we won't be moving back until August. *sigh*

In random news, I'm thinking about jobs. I haven't talked to my SO yet, but I'm thinking of taking the first semester and just subbing instead of getting a full-time job. First of all because I want to get a middle school science certificate added to my license (I'm currently certified to teach high school sciences), and they don't have that test until September. But mostly because I want to go to my friend's wedding in December for about two weeks and there's no way a school would let a new hire take potentially 6-8 days off. And there's no way I'm missing that wedding. So I guess I'll look for jobs in January. I checked the district jobs page and there were about 5 or 6 jobs that showed up midyear this year that I could have applied for. Just hoping it's the same for next year!

That is all. I'm going to go drown my anger in Belgium Chocolate Ice Cream. And then sit in the sun with my fancy sunglasses and some bright red lipstick. Need some vitamin D!
