So, I've been busy this weekend. I'll post more later, but mostly I just wanted to show you guys the finished cake topper. Yes. I have already finished the cake topper for a wedding that's still nearly 11 months away. But cross it off my to-do list! So, one thing done, lots more to go! Well, actually...

Church is booked (as of Thanksgiving weekend).
Reception site is tentatively booked. I filled out the initial form and we'll get the contract in the next day or two to review and sign and give them our deposit.
Flowers - I at least know what I want, I just need to finish them.
Cake topper - check. Cake idea? Check. Baker? Not yet...
Reception Menu: idea, check. Caterer, check. Contract/Deposit? not check. I need to hear back from them about the gluten & dairy-free options, but then they should be check as well.
Groom's attire: he's wearing his old tuxedo and his mom is going to make his vest & bowtie.
Bride's attire: I'm going dress shopping with Mom&sister in December... wait. December is now. so uh... I guess I'm going in like 2 weeks! OMG YAY.

And now, onto the cake topper pictures! They're made out of polymer clay, which was shockingly easy to handle and get into the shapes I wanted. Well, except for the tiny parts, like the noses and paws. But I think they turned out pretty well. I'm happy with them, at least.
