Nix & I are getting pictures taken when I'm there in Feb. I'm not calling them "engagement pictures" but honestly, what's the difference between that and a "portrait session"? His boss at Old Navy is taking them for us, which is happy. She's nice.

So. I'm trying to put an outfit together for said pictures. I know I'm going to wear jeans, because it will be chilly outside and I don't want to die if we are able to get some outdoor pictures. My current favorites are a pair of skinny jeans I have, but they're wearing out (so I'm going to hopefully buy a new pair in the next two weeks).

My darling sent me a new shirt from ON because I had been oogling it for a while. It won't let me copy the image URL, so here's a link to it. He got me the grey one. (Do you think the sequins would be okay in pictures, or should I try to find something less sparkle-y?)

I'm considering going to look for a blazer to go over it, one that I can cuff the sleeves on (or comes with cuffed sleeves). Yes/no/maybe? Or should I find a cardigan instead?

My other dilemma is shoes. I have these outrageously high purple suede pumps that I LOVE, but are impossible to walk in. I also have neon pink pumps. And a smattering of other heels... Here are a couple of pictures:

I'm not sure if you can see the colors, so going clockwise, starting with the zebra shoe: grey&white zebra print, hot pink, gold sparkles, purple suede, a crazy patterned shoe, and then multi-colored animal print.

Natalie wanted in on the action...

So. opinion on the shoes? (The gold ones are also impossible to walk in, but they look awesome. I wore them to my company's Christmas party last year where we got dressed up all fancy-schmancy.) I have a ton of shoes, but these are my most favorite (and fun!) heels.

I plan on wearing the watch Nix gave me for Christmas, which is rose gold & also sparkle-y (I am currently in love with the fact that sparkles seem to be "in", so they're SUPER easy to find on basically every item of clothing.) Any recommendations for other jewelry/accessories? What about hair...? sigh. I'm hopeless.
