To make things easier on myself, I'm doing a little list-thing and going day-by day of some of the stuff we did. (with a few pictures, of course!) We bought the PhotoPass+ package, but our archive disc won't be here for a few days, so these are ones I took with my phone.

Sunday, 10/27
We got up around 8, and went downstairs and enjoyed free breakfast (thanks, hotel staff. They gave us breakfast cards when we checked in as a little "congratulations" from them. yay!) and then packed up and headed over to the airport. FIL arrived and took the stuff we didn't need to bring on our honeymoon with us (like my dress and his tux).

We dropped off the car, and then went and checked in to our flight and checked our bags. We practically walked straight through security, it was great. The flight was good, no screaming/kicking kids (yay!). When we got to Orlando, we had to walk what seemed like foooooooorever to get to the bus to take us to our resort. However, it was awesome, because we didn't have to get our bags! Disney is great.

We went and grabbed dinner at our resort's cafe thing, and then headed to Downtown Disney. We walked around a bunch and enjoyed the sights. Got back to the hotel, and then went to bed (*cough wink cough*).

Monday, 10/28
Monday was our earliest day, because we had to be up and at Animal Kingdom by 7:45ish to get ready for our safari at 8! It was an AMAZING experience, if you ever go to Disney and can afford to splurge on a Disney experience, I highly recommend the Wild Africa Trek through AK. We spent the day at Animal Kingdom. Here are some pictures from our morning adventure:

We had dinner at Planet Hollywood because Nix had never been. The food was amazing, and it was the night we realized that we would each be gaining probably 5 pounds on our trip, based on how much food we'd be eating. It was ridiculous.

Tuesday, 10/29
We went to EPCOT on Tuesday, which was awesome because they're in the middle of their food & wine festival, so many tasty noms! That night we had dinner at Nine Dragons in China. Again, soooo much food. But we had gotten a little hangry by dinner time, so we were pretty excited to eat, haha. The potstickers were soooo tasty. Seriously, so tasty. And for dessert we had a banana cheescake eggroll with caramel sauce, it was crazy delicious. I know it sounds weird, but it was yummy.
After dinner we made a quick trip back to our hotel room to change for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party at Magic Kingdom. It was pretty fun, they had trick-or-treating for the kids, and a fun parade and some pretty neat fireworks.

Wednesday, 10/30
We spent most of the day at Hollywood Studios, and called it a little early and did a little hot-tub sitting this night. It was busy and there were kids everywhere, so we didn't stay long, but it was nice. We went on Star Tours, which is a Star Wars ride - definitely a fun one. And Rockin' Rollercoaster. The last time I was at Disney was in high school, and was terrified of going on that coaster. This time, I was good to go. It was very odd, because I wasn't nervous at all. Well, at least, not until the ride didn't go when it was supposed to. It launches you from 0 to 60 in like, 3 seconds, and there's a countdown and everything. Well, it got to 0 in the countdown, and we didn't move. Neat! </sarcasm> Anyway, overall, another excellent day.

For dinner that night we headed back to Downtown Disney for the Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe. The food here, aaaaaaaaaaaah-mazing. Seriously, I mean, it's Wolfgang Puck, so, we weren't shocked by it's tasty level. But, I had this squash soup for my appetizer... I could have just eaten that for dinner. It was SO GOOD. Plus, they were all about the presentation, hence why I took a picture of my soup.

We had white sangria with our dinner because we could, and Nix actually really liked it! I'm so happy, lol. He didn't really like booze, or so he said... This trip said otherwise, haha! We were "those" people, and took a picture of our desserts too. I mean, we had to. Look how they plated them!

(I had keylime pie, and Nix had cheesecake. Tasty!)

Thursday, 10/31
Halloween in the Magic Kingdom: an excellent way to spend Halloween. We dressed up as young Carl & Ellie, and the cast members loved it. Or, at least they seemed to. We got "Hey, Carl & Ellie!" so much from them, it was awesome. We have a few pictures from that day too.

We headed back "downtown" for dinner, this time at Raglan Road - an Irish pub. An awesome idea, especially because there was a live band (which we knew about) AND live Irish dancing! (we did not know about that!) It was really cool, though, hard to eat while they were dancing because we just wanted to watch, haha!

And look for part 2....
