It started off a bit tough with a looooong drive there. There was a line up at the border, I guess because it was easter weekend, so I waited there about an hour before I got through. Not long after that, traffic came to a dead stop. I got stuck behind an accident for 2 hours. So the drive that should take me MAX 7 hours took me 10. I was pretty much livid and just wanted to get to my girl. But I did eventually make it there.
She prepared my favorite meal, which is carnitas, for my birthday and I caught up with her and her family. After dinner we went up to her room and she gave me my gifts. She got me a gorgeous ring. A hand made hammered silver ring with an engraving on the inside. I teared up. No one has ever got me anything that special. What a feeling!!
We spent Saturday with her brothers. I love spending time with those boys, they are just awesome. And I know they mean the world to her. That evening was spent baking! I love to bake with my girl. She's a pastry chef so it's fun to watch and to help. She like's teaching me and she makes me want to learn.
Sunday was a relax day, which was great. I needed it and so did she. Life has been crazy for us lately so we wanted to just BE. We watched tv, cuddled, talked and relaxed. And then it was turkey time! Oh I love that family's turkey dinners!! They are southern so they have the GOOD stuffs! hehe
I wont go in to details about the sex stuff lol...BUT we did try new things and whoa it was amazing. We keep getting more comfortable and learning so much about each other's wants and needs.
Monday was time to head back home. It's always hard to leave but we have another visit planned already so that makes it much easier. The drive home went really well. Now back to "normal" life until May for a longer visit and another trip to NYC!
Anywho, that's all the babbling I got for now. hehe
