My wife and I have officially started the paperwork!!
Friday before last, we went to consult with an immigration lawyer. Both of us were really overwhelmed with the whole process, on top her not having a place to go back to in the US because her family is moving to the west cost USA. So we decided to looking to getting some help and to see what our options were. With our situation, and my wife already being in Canada, we decided to apply for Sonsorship In-Land, as well as a work permit for Allie. This is a new thing that started last year. Yes it is a much lenghtier process but because of our situation, it's the best route for us. Our lawyer is super helpful and great at explaining the process, in a not so overwhelming way. This way we will feel good knowing that it will be done RIGHT. He said that the firm has had only ONE rejection and it was because the person was dishonest about their criminal record.

Our file is about 90% ready to go! (well our part of the work anyway) They rest will be done by him. The hard stuff. haha Yes, it's going to be expensive, but it's totally worth the lack of stress it was causing.

What we've gathered so far (as recommended by the firm):
Medical Exam;
FBI approval;
Lawyer questionnaires filled out;
Letters from family and friends;
Emails from the past 6+ years printed out;
Skype call logs;
Proof of beneficiary with work;
Proof that my wife was added to my aparment lease.

What's left to do:
Pictures of Allie and I from the passed 6 years;
Pictures of us with family and friends;

More updates to follow...
