It was very simple. We went for a walk on the Walkway over the Hudson. It's a big bridge that crosses the Hudson river. It used to be a railway bridge but it was converted to a walkway a few years ago. Anyway, so we went for a walk. It was a gorgeous spring day, just a few clouds and nice temperature. We got about halfway over the bridge and sat down and looked at the scenery. Charles and I have had this ongoing thing between us since we've been dating, I ask him if he will love me forever and he says he will love me many much long time. It's just a cutesy thing we do. Well as we were about to get up he whispered in my ear, "how about instead of me loving you many much long time, I love you forever instead?" and he pulled the ring out of his pocket. He didn't get down on one knee bc he severely bruised a rib not to long ago and if he went down he wouldn't have been able to get back up without help lol. So we kissed and he put the ring on my finger. When we got up he informed me that his brother was waiting on the other side of the bridge to give us his car so we could go to dinner at the restaurant where we had our first date.
As for the ring. The diamond was his grandmothers. And the band is a fake puzzle ring. I wanted an actual one but him and his mom didn't think a ring that came apart with a diamond attached was a good idea lol.
